let’s save some money and make a yummy, fall coffee at home!
hi friends!! the weather is starting to get chilly and every coffee shop around me is starting to roll out their fall drinks. there is something so exciting about the change of seasons and all the new items that start to roll out. my wallet would love if i didn’t talk myself into a bevy every time i left the house this fall, so i am on a mission to make these drinks at home!
i am starting this series with an easy cold brew recipe using ingredients I already had around the house or found at target. you are going to need cold brew coffee, heavy whipping cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla syrup. this recipe only takes a few minutes and is so yummy!
here are the step by step instructions:
- start with a 16 ounce cup and fill it about halfway with ice.
- pour your pecan pie flavored cold brew into the cup, leaving about an inch of room at the top.
- to make the cold foam, you’re going to put 2 teaspoons of vanilla syrup and 1/8 a cup of whipping cream into a measuring cup.
- next, you are going to froth the mixture until nice and fluffy. this will take at least 60 seconds.
- pour your cold foam over the cold brew and top with cinnamon and nutmeg.
a recipe with 5 steps or less is my favorite kind! i hope you guys find this recipe as easy and good as i do. you’ll get all the satisfaction of a fall coffee without dropping $7. I plan to keep this series going and create a new drink recipe each week. let’s get creative at home and save up for a much needed update to my fall wardrobe.
